FOBISIA is proud to represent nearly 60 high-quality British international schools and over 80 commercial organisations across Asia. The Federation’s aim is to enrich the experience of its students and staff through promoting excellence in British-style education, and celebrating the community of British national heritage and cultural identities of host countries and student bodies. It provides opportunities for inter-school competitions and enrichment programmes, and facilitates school improvement through shared programmes of professional development. During the last academic year, the Federation has organised over 100 professional development, networking, and student events in approximately 15 countries.

The role of CEO is a newly created position following a review of FOBISIA’s operations. It is an exciting time for the Federation as there continues to be growth in the number of international schools in Asia, and the Board of the Federation recognises that FOBISIA has to re-organise to be fit for the future.

The appointed CEO will ideally bring senior management experience in an international or UK school setting or within an organisation connected to the education sector. They will be a strong and inspiring leader who is ambitious, energetic, highly organised, and client-focussed.  The successful candidate will have a good understanding of educational matters, both internationally and in the UK, will be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
