Group Chief Executive

We can solve poverty in the UK.
Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) are two separate organisations with a clear and combined vision of a prosperous UK without poverty. We are midway through our 2018-2021 strategy and are also undergoing a period of transformation to modernise the way we work in order to successfully deliver our outcomes and missions.
After a successful period of refocus and restructure we are looking to appoint our first Group CEO. This individual will be required to build on the transformational change underway and to help us achieve our ambitious goals. They will lead, motivate and unite the organisations behind a bold vision that will bring about lasting social change.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to lead two organisations in a newly formed group to inspire change through local and national partnerships. If you share our unwavering commitment to bringing about an end to poverty through credible policy solutions, developing and building strong communities, and can demonstrate strong leadership experience in an organisation of similar size and complexity we would be delighted to hear from you.
JRF and JRHT strongly believe diversity is essential for successful organisations and communities. As such we actively encourage applications from a broad and deep range of backgrounds and experiences.
