The Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse theatres (e&P) are a local artistic force with long-standing national significance and an international reputation. The Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse is now seeking candidates for the exciting new post of Creative Director. This post-holder will be a key member of the Executive Team and will lead e&P artistically into a new era, building on the organisation’s reputation for artistic innovation, talent development and progressive social change. The organisation is looking for someone with a strong vision of how e&P’s theatres can be a vital focus for the communities in the Liverpool City Region, telling stories which are compelling locally and nationally, supporting and attracting talent and contributing to Liverpool’s reputation as one of the country’s most vibrant cultural cities. Candidates should bring a compelling artistic vision that reaches across all of e&P’s spaces. They will excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to collaborate and forge partnerships, be able to work to budgets and deadlines and understand digital content creation. An absolute commitment to equality, inclusion and diversity is required.

Single or joint applications are welcomed from those with experience in wide creative disciplines and experience in theatre directing is not a prerequisite for applicants.
