Loretto Junior School is now looking for an exceptional leader with a strong vision, excellent pastoral instincts and exemplary communications skills to be their new Head. Reporting to Dr Graham Hawley, Headmaster of the Senior School, the successful candidate will lead on the day-to-day running of the Junior School. The Head has key responsibilities in respect of the staff, the pupils and their parents and the general administration of the School.

The successful candidate will have the warmth, credibility and presence to secure the full engagement of all pupils, staff, parents and other stakeholders in the delivery of the School’s aims. In addition to a track record of successful teaching and leadership at senior management level, they will have the ability to market and promote the School effectively, through excellent communication to prospective and current parents and staff as well as the wider community. Candidates must be registered with or eligible for registration with GTC Scotland.
