Midlands

We are first and foremost a business with a strong social purpose.  For nearly a hundred years we have focussed on our mission to provide high quality, safe and affordable homes across the Midlands that allow people to live truly independent and fulfilling lives.

We have completed the fifth year of our corporate plan ‘Making What Matters Brilliant’ which has seen us continue to deliver a strong set of operational and financial results, despite an increasingly challenging operating environment.

A skilled and diverse Board is critical to our success and as we pass the halfway point of our plan, we are looking for two new Board Members. The role of our Board members is to provide stewardship of our business beyond their technical areas of expertise. All Board members are also members of our Board committees and utilise their relevant skills and experience.

If you are an experienced leader, with experience of finance, IT/e-commerce, HR or planning/development gained within a large consumer facing business, we’d like to hear from you.  With experience at main Board level, you will have business acumen along with the ability to contribute to a full corporate agenda.  You will have a contemporary awareness of the social housing sector, particularly in and around the Midlands, as well as an understanding of regulated environments.

Our business is one where anyone with the capability, aptitude and behaviours to do so, can succeed, regardless of their background.  Our Board is no different; we are proud of our diversity and seek to reflect the geographies across which we operate.  We know that diverse Boards make better decisions.

If you have the skills and experience to help us achieve our considerable potential, then please visit www.saxbam.com/appointments using code KBNUA for more information. For a confidential discussion, please contact our search consultants at Saxton Bampfylde hannah.scarisbrick@saxbam.com or 07920 498 015.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 12noon on 2nd May 2024.
