We are a national charity providing in-school emotional support to children and young people. Founded in 1994, Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, building children’s resilience through talking, creative work and play. Place2Be works with almost 700 schools annually, supporting a school population of over 350,000 children and young people, helping them to cope with wide-ranging and often complex social issues including bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma.
We are now seeking our new Chief Financial Officer, someone who will be focused on achieving our ambitious objectives and committed to careful financial management. Scaling our work and leveraging technology in our operations and practice requires oversight of an important investment programme in IT along with ensuring we have the legal, compliance and risk management processes in place to meet our objectives.
As CFO you will have a collaborative approach and be able to work with our teams to provide creative and strategic solutions in an ever growing and nationally dispersed organisation. You will bring energy, drive and diplomacy to the position and a commitment to the mission and values of Place2Be.
