In this context, we are looking for a Clinical Non-Executive Director to join our Board. This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to people’s lives. As a member of a unitary board, there is shared and collective responsibility amongst all the directors for the overall strategic direction and performance of the organisation. All candidates must be confident in a high performing board environment and in their ability to constructively challenge and probe performance in a large and complex organisational setting. The successful candidates will embody Turning Point’s values, working together for the benefit of the diverse population we are proud to serve.
Candidates should have non-executive or trustee board experience and strong strategic skills. They will be a clinician with a background in medicine, with a particular focus on primary care or wider clinical practice related to our work. They will have a track record of prominence and excellence in their medical field, and have the stature, intellect and strategic ability to contribute actively to the board of a large, national and complex organisation, providing high levels of clinical scrutiny, particularly around risk and assurance.
The role is remunerated at £4,000 per year and time commitment will be around 10 hours per month.
