The Deputy Principal – Education is a senior leadership role with responsibility for leading and driving the University’s programmes of study and academic standards. Reporting directly to the Principal and Vice Chancellor, and as a member of the executive team, this role will play a full part in shaping the overall strategic direction of the University and is pivotal in advancing the University’s education, teaching, and learning portfolio.

The successful postholder will possess extensive leadership experience in a senior academic role, with a strong track record of delivery in education, learning and pedagogy. Extensive knowledge of key factors impacting higher education in the UK and internationally will be highly advantageous, as will an evidenced ability of incorporating trends and best practices to benefit students. Demonstrable experience of identifying, fostering, and building strategic collaborations and partnerships with external stakeholders will be key, as will outstanding communication and influencing skills.
