Walk the Line – Government & Regulatory Affairs in a Changing Landscape

Over the past 30 years Saxton Bampfylde has been working alongside some of the most successful businesses in the UK, and has developed a strong reputation for our work in the public affairs space. We recognise that in an ever more complex political and economic climate, particularly the regulation and government affairs function across these organisations requires the very best leadership.

We were keen to explore the role of regulation and government affairs directors and the part they play in setting, guiding and supporting their organisations’ strategic direction. We wanted to look into the challenges being faced and the skills and attitude effective leaders in this space require.

Walk the Line is the result of conversations with government and regulatory affairs directors from a range of the UK’s leading businesses, and a number of representatives of trade associations who support member organisations and interact with government and regulators.
