Saxton Bampfylde had a thoroughly brilliant and fun week hosting our global Researchers here in London for this year’s Panorama Research Conference!
With a packed agenda, our focus was all about shared learning across global executive search. We kicked the first day off with words of wisdom from Roy Herold, Managing Partner of MPS Enterprises and our own Stephen Bampfylde, sharing their advice for building a career in executive search. This was followed by a great roundup of the latest developments in the executive search space, by Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) EMEA Director, Clare Mahon.
Sessions also included a discussion with best selling author David Skelton, formerly of Google and Policy Exchange, sharing fascinating insight into the changing nature of leadership in the face of polycrisis and uncertainty.
Our Panorama colleagues from Talengo in Spain led a session on incorporating EDI informed thinking into our own search processes, before Harriet Lamb, CEO of circular economy leader WRAP, fired up the whole group on the role we, as search practitioners, can play in ensuring sustainability remains high on the agenda amongst our clients and candidates, irrespective of sector.
We’ve loved sharing the past few days with our researcher colleagues from Talengo (Spain), EXEC (Brazil), Executive Access (India), Mangaard & Partners (Denmark), Phelps Group (Canada), BoardWalk Consulting (USA), Buffkin/Baker (USA), Hobson Leavy (New Zealand) and WOMB Group (USA) – building relationships and friendship around the world, helping to grow and strengthen our global partnership in Panorama!
