Kat joined Saxton Bampfylde in September 2021 as a Consultant in our Social Impact practice group. She brings over 16 years’ experience in the charity sector, including 10 as a Chief Executive, most recently of UK-wide health and arts charity, MediCinema. She built the charity from reaching 11,000 patients a year to over 40,000, refreshed its board and restructured its financial and fundraising model, and – despite covid – left the charity well positioned and well on the way to achieving its ambitious plans to triple its beneficiaries and double its hospital cinema sites by 2025. Prior to MediCinema she was CEO of international health and film charity, Medical Aid Films, and has served in a variety of leadership positions at health, wellbeing and third sector support charities. She is also a Non-Executive Director for a farm and tree bark business in Estonia.
As both a previous candidate and client, Kat brings a unique viewpoint on the search process from all sides of our stakeholder relationships. Coupled with her sector experience, she is looking forward to working with our clients and team to bring the right talent and leadership into amazing causes to help them further their mission and impact in the world.
